AS-USA works to preserve a socially, environmentally, economically and politically sustainable America by addressing this nation's population growth for all U.S.-born citizens and legal immigrants.
Do we see severe traffic congestion, pollution, energy shortages, economic problems and racial tensions in lightly populated areas?
Over 15 million American workers, including legal immigrants, are unemployed. Should we continue to add 3 million people annually to the U.S. who are essentially jobseekers, students, patients, welfare recipients and users of energy?
Our federal government has recently spent hundreds of billions of dollars to create jobs-- money that we borrowed from other countries. Is President Obama's immigration "reform" responsible, which could add tens of millions of legal and illegal professional and low-skilled jobseekers to the U.S. in the next few years?
Although many U.S. and foreign-born people have many good qualities, do we wish to leave today's children a country with possibly half of India's current population?
