AS-USA works to preserve a socially, environmentally and economically sustainable America by addressing this nation's population growth for all American citizens. Its also supports worldwide population stabilization to ensure quality life for all human beings.
The United States is overwhelmed by many social, fiscal, environmental and economic problems and has become the greatest debtor nation in the world due to our many policies. Since limited resources cannot cope with unlimited population growth, is it wise to continue to add 3 million people every year to the United States who are likely to be jobseekers, students, patients, drivers, polluters and users of natural and fiscal resources?
There are hunreds of billionaires in developing nations. Why shouldn't they work with their local leaders to curb their population growth and improve life for their own citizens? Although many people are fine individuals, do we wish to leave today's children a United States with possibly half of India's current population?
Instead of spending hundreds of billions of dollars - money that we borrowed from China and other countries - to create jobs, or raising taxes on the struggling middle class families to pay for our overburdened infrastructure, shouldn't the President and Congress work on stabilizing the U.S. population including adopting an immigration policy that reflects our economic realities?
